HeinOnline offers access to information on political developments and a complete history of the formation of governments and legal systems around the world. The trial access will run until 17 February 2025.

As part of many databases included in the package, the HeinOnline periodicals collection contains over 3,100 periodicals covering a variety of subject areas (from early to current issues).

HeinOnline also offers:

  • Easy-to-use interface functionality with built-in AI and natural language processing tools.
  • All documents in HeinOnline are exact replicas of the original printed publications, provided in a fully searchable, image-based format.
  • Almost all content is available from the earliest volumes of the publication, providing access to hard-to-find historical materials.
  • PathFinder browsing and search tool that thematically codes every article in the Journals of Laws Library.

The UK Parliamentary & Government Publications (Public Information Online) database, indexes documents that are essential resources for understanding the workings of the British parliamentary system. UK Parliamentary Papers cover, among other things: legislative debates and provide insight into the affairs of the UK's colonies and foreign relations (period since 1801).

Access is ensured for students, doctoral students and University of Lodz employees who are registered in the library network.
