OUR PARTNERSHIPS
- Universitaetsbibliothek der Justus-Liebig-Universitaet Giessen
The Justus Liebig University of Giessen (JLU) and the University of Lodz (UL) established their partnership during the Cold War in 1978. Mutual cooperation is based on a broad foundation and is actively promoted by almost all departments of JLU and UL as well as university libraries. Scientific cooperation is focused in organic chemistry, German studies and social and historical sciences. Cooperation between University Library of Giessen and University Library of Lodz focuses on exchanging experiences, not only by sharing information but also during mutual visits among libraries.
At University of Lodz there is an Information Point which aims is to strengthen long-standing cooperation. At the JLU Information Point in Lodz Justus Liebig University Giessen will present its study programmes and research opportunities, advise academics and students on exchange and cooperation opportunities and provide information on funding programmes.
Since 2003 there have been realised more than twenty visits within the cooperation.

The University of Regensburg (UR) and the University of Lodz (UL) have entered into a joint partnership agreement to promote cooperation. The partnership includes i.a exchange of lecturers, development and implementation of joint research projects, care for offspring, joint publications, conferences, workshops.
- UNIC libraries - in 2022 University o Lodz joined European University of Post-Industrial Cities. The main goal of it to joint implementation of innovative solutions in the field of education and science and deep institutional integration. Below lists of universities libraries within the network:
